Girls basketball earns best win of the season
Down two points with 30 seconds left, eighth grader Nica Rosenberg '28 delivered the shot of the season with a go ahead three pointer from the right wing to give the raiders a critical victory over Gulliver Prep as they fight for a regional berth. Senior Gabby Pena '24 carried the raiders for much of the game with timely baskets and double digit rebounds including the game winning steal with three seconds left. Junior Taylor Smith '25 continued her strong season knocking down a pair of three pointers to go along with three assists in the victory. The team will have a quick turnaround as they head to Key West and Marathon for back to back road contests this weekend.
