Raiders inch closer to top district seed with victory over Carrollton

Senior Sofia Rua '24 led the way with two goals including the game winner late in the second half as the Raiders notched their ninth win of the season defeating Carrollton 4-3 in a highly competitive match. Sophomore Johanna James '26 and junior Anna Lavernia '25 rounded out the scoring for the Raiders. Before kickoff the Raiders honored a special senior class that included Carolina Font '24, Juju Perez '24, Andrea Paniagua '24, Mackenzie Buckner '24,  Isabel Chong '24 and Sofia Rua '24.  The team will get back to the practice field today as they prepare to close out the regular season with a road contest against St. Brendan Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m.
