Raiders advance to regional semifinal with strong performance

Senior Sofia Rua '24 put together a special performance with two goals and one assist as the Raiders defeated Carrollton for a third time in three weeks to advance to the regional semifinal against Thomas Edison High School this Friday at 3:30 p.m. Sophomore Stella Colombo '26 added two goals and junior Anna Lavernia '25 rounded out the scoring with a goal of her own on a beautiful header off a corner kick. Defensively, the Raider backline was outstanding led by senior Mackenzie Buckner '24, Kenzie Connell '26 and Avery Almazan '26. The Raiders will get back to the practice field today as they gear up for Friday's anticipated matchup.
