Eighth graders honored, 'sent up' to US

Ransom Everglades honored the entire eighth-grade class while singling out a few students for special awards at the first-annual Middle School Send-up June 2 at Swenson Hall. About two dozen students claimed awards for physical education, visual arts, performing arts, service, citizenship and others. Photo Gallery
The event also featured performances by the Middle School's string quartet, drama students and band/chorus. Preston Edmunds '20 and Alex Freedline '20 were recognized for their service as spring and fall class presidents.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
