Valedictorian and salutatorian named

Jorge Zreik '18 was named valedictorian and Daniel Freedline '18, salutatorian, for Ransom Everglades' Class of 2018. Zreik will give the valedictory address at the 2018 Commencement on May 25, and Freedline will address his peers during the May 20 Senior Send-off. Head of the Upper School Ken Mills shared the news with the boys on May 11.
Zreik has been a dedicated and exceptional student, taking five AP classes and a photography course while serving as Chief Engineer for the school's robotics team. During the summer, he worked with Dr. Sunil Rao at the University of Miami on a biostatisics internship that used computer modeling to advance cancer research. He will attend Princeton University in the fall.

Freedline has managed a challenging class schedule and a variety of extracurricular commitments. He is president of the speech and debate team; competes on the academic, water polo and swim teams; has authored his own 3D children's books (Sunny the Bear); and also finds time to teach sailing and windsurfing to children. He will attend Yale University.
