For College Representatives

Greetings from the College Counseling Office at Ransom Everglades School!

Ransom Everglades School invites any college or university to visit that is a NACAC member and meets one or more of the following criteria:
    • The college received admission applications from three or more Ransom Everglades students between 2021-23.
    • The institution is a Historically Black College or University, or a Military Academy.
Many excellent schools do not meet the above criteria; we regret that we cannot accommodate all the colleges wishing to visit.

We welcome college admissions representatives to visit our campus and to spend time with counselors and prospective applicants starting the week of September 11. 

Please check availability and request your visit through RepVisits. We will review requests throughout the summer and respond quickly. Once your visit is approved, you will receive a confirmation email that includes specific instructions regarding how to find the Ransom Campus (Upper School), security and parking details.

Due to limitations with availability of on-campus space and our students’ academic schedule, we will be unable to accommodate all requests. Priority will be given to colleges and universities where our students have applied within the last five years. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
