    Valedictorian, salutatorian named at Senior Awards Ceremony

    During a senior award ceremony filled with applause, cheers and standing ovations, Ransom Everglades' upper school honored the entire Class of 2026 while distributing select awards on April 28 that recognized academic excellence and character. The most anticipated announcement came at the conclusion of the event at the Lewis Family Auditorium, when Charlotte Gould ’26 was named valedictorian and Chloe Dubose ’26, salutatorian.

    RE track and field athletes win 11 events at the district championships

    Ransom Everglades track and field secured 11 individual and relay district titles at the Florida High School Athletic Association 2A District 15 Championships at Gulliver Prep on April 15. Multi-event champions Savannah Davis ’31 and Will Duncan ’29 headlined the meet, combining for five of the team’s first-place finishes under coach Mike Becker. Gillian Carvalho ’29, Ivan LeFrak ’29, London Ross ’32 and Celia Rundlet ’27 also won individual titles

  • Drama students offer memorable performances of The Hypochondriac

    Under the night sky on the back patio of La Brisa, RE's upper school drama students showed their acting acumen with a sharply witty rendition of Moliere's The Hypochondriac in performances from April 15-17. Student actors showed fast-paced comedic timing and executed hilarious physical comedy in the play, led by Charlie Derick ’26 as the neurotic Argan and Vivi Pasos ’28 as the spirited servant Toinette. The production featured standout ensemble work from Lael Sanders ’26, Gustavo do Valle ’26 and Ben Brandrick-Morris ’29, whose polished performances navigated the story’s chaotic romances and medical satire.
