    Dozens of honored, valedictorian and salutatorian named

    On a day more than 60 awards were presented to members of the senior class, three recognitions stood out. Andrew Gedde ’25 was named valedictorian and Sirja Jõeveer ’25, salutatorian, and Roxi Vadia Morgenstern ’75 – who celebrated her 50th reunion at RE this past weekend – received the Head of School’s Award for Distinguished Service to the School.

RE’s College Counseling Office had the opportunity on April 14 to draw back the curtain and shed some light on what admissions committees do during these months and months of application review.

    Six Raiders scored individual titles at the track and field district meet

    Six Raiders – including two eighth graders – won individual track and field district titles at the Florida High School Athletic Association 2A District 15 championships. Gillian Carvalho '29 finished first in the 400 meters in 56.19 seconds, Ella Griffin '29 won the 3,200 in 12 minutes, 13.16 seconds, Harrison Lamnin '25 claimed the discus title with a throw of 34.21 meters, Nelson Manstein '26 finished first in the 800 in 1:58.55, Latrice Nelson '25 claimed the 800 title in 1:58.55) and Lucas Schleifer '26 won the pole vault with a jump of 2.85 meters.

    Award-winning financial journalist advises on ethics in business and journalism

    Financial reporter and bestselling author David Faber addressed upper school students on the topic of ethics in business and journalism as part of the Holzman Center of Applied Ethics Speaker Series on April 7. Holzman Center Director John A. King Jr. interviewed Faber from the Lewis Family Auditorium stage before turning the questions over to students. Faber's visit to RE took place at the height of tariff anxiety and market volatility, providing fodder for pointed questions and follow ups.
