    Three students receive 'Star Awards' from Independent Schools of South Florida

    Samantha Mendoza ’30, Caden Thomas ’30 and Zarah Broome-Webster ’30 were honored with "Star Awards" from the Independent Schools of South Florida during a luncheon and ceremony on April 15.
    The students, who each received gold medals, were nominated by Ransom Everglades faculty for their excellence in academics, community service, citizenship, performing or visual arts, or athletics. The ISSF presents the awards to recognize "best all-around" students who serve as examples to their peers through effort, dedication and good character. Dean of the Eighth Grade Furqan Tinsley accompanied the students to the annual banquet to celebrate their achievements.

    Author and addiction expert addresses upper school students

    Author and speaker Matthew Bocchi shared his personal battle with drug and alcohol addiction with RE juniors and seniors during an assembly at the Lewis Family Auditorium April 10. The talk was designed to encourage RE's eldest students to work together as campus eaders to provide support for their peers, hold each other accountable and take care of themselves.

  • Upper school and middle school honor band members with Jon Hamm

    RE students show their musical gifts at district honor band event

    Five middle school students and five upper school students showcased their musical talents in the Florida Bandmasters Association District 20 Honor Band April 10-11 in Tavernier, an opportunity for the best student band musicians in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties to perform together under the direction of professional conductors.
