Raiders shutout Booker T. Washington in impressive road victory
Sophomore defensive back Finn McCarron '28 led the way with two interceptions as the Raider defense extended it's shutout streak to eight quarters with a dominant 35-0 performance over Booker T. Washington High School. Sophomore quarterback Matthew Guavara '28 continued to display grit and toughness with three running touchdowns and a strong performance through the air. Sophomore running back Noah Alce '28 returned from injury with a 25 yard touchdown run and kickers Carlos Lavernia '26 and Alex Martinex '28 made a pair of field goals to round out the scoring. The Raiders will return to the practice on Monday as they begin preparations for their final regular season game and celebrate a terrific senior class in a ceremony prior to kickoff at 6:35 p.m.
