Boys lacrosse continues strong season

The Raiders boys lacrosse team capped off a dominant Orlando trip with two impressive wins, showcasing both offensive firepower and gritty defense. In a commanding 14–0 victory at Lakeland, the Raiders controlled every aspect of the game. Sophomore Jazz Brooks '28 led the scoring with a hat trick, while junior Owen Acosta '27 added 2 goals and completely took over at the faceoff X. Sophomore Hunter White '28 and senior Elijah Ponce '26 each chipped in 2 goals, and sophomore Finn McCarron '28 was a force defensively with 7 ground balls and 4 takeaways. Senior goalie Jackson Crowley '26 anchored the defense with a shutout performance in net. The second game proved to be a battle, as the Raiders edged Lake Mary 9–8 in a thrilling finish. Elijah Ponce '26 delivered a standout performance with 3 goals and 2 assists. Senior Rauli Matos '26 earned Player of the Game honors, contributing 2 goals along with 6 ground balls and 5 takeaways. Sophomore Winston Hosford '28 was everywhere on the field, tallying 3 assists, 7 ground balls, and 7 takeaways. Senior Wes Barnett '26 came through clutch with the game-winning goal on an aggressive ride, while junior Alex Dambouret '27 and senior Ian Villaraos '26 each added key goals. Senior goalie Jackson Crowley '26 once again stepped up in goal, making 9 crucial saves—including two late stops to seal the win. Overall, it was a complete team effort and a successful sweep on the road for the Raiders.
