Raider girls lacrosse advance to district semifinal

The #2 seed Raiders powered their way into the district semifinals with a strong playoff victory over #7 seed Coral Shores in the quarterfinal round. The night was highlighted by a major milestone from senior Abby Pollak '26, who surpassed 200 career draw controls (now at 202) while also netting her 110th career goal—an incredible achievement and a key factor in the Raiders’ success. Sophomore Cici Cisneros '28 delivered one of her most complete performances of the season, contributing 3 goals, 1 assist, 3 draw controls, 3 ground balls, and a caused turnover. Senior Chloe Zaldivar '26 added 3 goals and 1 assist, while eighth grader Nina Lazo '30 chipped in 2 goals and 1 assist. Senior Alicia Medina '26 also recorded 2 goals and 1 assist to help round out the offensive effort. In goal, freshman Aziza Apara '29 came up big with 7 saves, anchoring the defense and helping secure the win. The Raiders now turn their focus to the next round as they prepare to host #3 seed Westminster Christian on Friday at 4 PM
