Raider softball earns road victory

Ransom Everglades dominated Miami Country Day 19–2 behind a strong all-around performance, highlighted by junior Addie Rothfield’s '27 three-hit, four-RBI game. The Raiders set the tone early, scoring in the first inning and adding five more runs in the second despite recording just one hit, showing excellent plate discipline. Their biggest surge came in the fifth inning, where they exploded for 10 runs, capitalizing on walks, errors, and timely hitting. As a team, the Raiders showed patience at the plate with 15 total walks, with multiple players drawing three each. In the circle, Junior Garoe Del Coso Pena '27 delivered a solid outing, allowing just one hit and two runs over five innings while striking out five. The Raiders also stayed aggressive on the bases and played clean defense, capping off a complete team win. They’ll look to carry that momentum into their next game against Coral Shores this afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
