Girls lacrosse advances to district semifinal

The Raider girls lacrosse team were powered by a standout all-around effort in their 13–9 win, with several players stepping up in key moments. Offensively, senior Alicia Medina '26 led the charge with 4 goals and 2 assists, while senior Abby Pollak '26 delivered a big performance with 5 goals and 1 assist. Senior Dylan Berkowitz '26 added 3 goals to round out the Raiders’ high-powered attack. In the midfield battle, sophomore Cici Cisneros '28 and eighth grader Nina Lazo '30 dominated the draw circle, each recording 3 draw controls. Together, they totaled 11 ground balls and contributed key caused turnovers, helping the Raiders consistently regain possession. Defensively, junior Caityn White '27 anchored the unit with 4 caused turnovers, while senior Lisel Green '26 added 2 more, helping shut down Westminster Christian’s attack when it mattered most. It was a complete team performance that propelled the Raiders into the district final. With the victory the Raiders advance to the district final where they will take on Palmer Trinity in a road contest Tuesday afternoon. First draw is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
