Raiders advance to nationals with strong performance

The Raider sailing team delivered a standout performance this weekend at the 2026 Team Racing District Championships, held on their home waters. Facing strong competition over two intense days, schools battled for coveted spots at next month’s National Championship. In team racing, where three boats from each school compete strategically to secure the lowest combined score, Raider Sailing proved dominant. The team won 14 of 17 races, clinching the district title by a two-win margin. In a rare display of depth and versatility, every sailor on the roster competed, underscoring the program’s talent and preparation. With the victory, Ransom Everglades not only claimed the district championship but also secured its place at nationals. Congratulations to all student athletes and coaches.
