Raiders earn 2nd place finish at WCS Invitational

Congratulations to the Ransom Everglades Boys Varsity Golf team on a great start to the season at the WCS Invitational! The Raiders finished 2nd overall, just a few strokes behind rival Columbus. The tournament featured some of the finest boys’ golf teams in South Florida, with Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties all well represented. A long and challenging course, speedy greens, warm temperatures, and steady breezy conditions made scoring difficult throughout the day. The Raiders were led by sophomore Cole Durham '29, who finished 5th overall with a 74 (+3). Eighth grader Anson Dover '31 and senior Zac Fischer '27 both posted 76 (+5) to tie for 12th, while fellow senior Mathew Puntikov '27 finished tied for 22nd with a 78 (+7). It was an impressive opening-day performance against a strong field and a great way to begin the 2026-27 season. Congratulations to Coach and the entire Raider Golf team!
