Boys and girls golf punch tickets to state tournament

The Raider golf teams are state bound! Both the boys’ and girls’ teams delivered outstanding performances at the Class 1A Region 4 Championships, earning their spots among the 16 teams advancing to the state tournament. The boys secured a fifth-place finish at the historic Miami Shores Country Club to punch their ticket to states. Leading the way was senior Cole Durham '29, who fired an impressive 68 (-3), followed by Axel Monssoh '30 with a 70 (-1). Zach Fischer added a 74, while Victor Monssoh '33 carded a 76 to round out the Raiders' scoring. The girls also punched their ticket to states following a tremendous performance, highlighted by sophomore Nina Fischer ’29 capturing the individual regional championship with an incredible 6-under-par 64! Junior Ella Wester ’28 and sophomore Esha Nagalla ’28 each fired a pair of 74s to lead the Raiders to a runner-up finish and secure another state bid for Ransom Everglades.
