Middle school students explore health and wellness at the RE Human Health Symposium

Middle school students explored a variety of health topics during the RE Human Health Symposium, which featured research posters and interactive activities created by the seventh-grade class and displayed across the center of campus. Students also attended an informative Health Professionals Panel at Swenson Hall on May 9 that included wellness guidance from physicians/health professionals (and parents or parents-of-alumni) Luly Casares, Kendra Malloy, Sultana Qureshi and Jawanza Starling.

Organized by science faculty member Alexandra Gunner and other seventh-grade science teachers, the event concluded with a visit from Heel 2 Heal therapy dogs, highlighting RE's commitment to its core value of Joy & Wellbeing.
