Alumni Events and Reunions

October highlights: A dynamic month for RE alumni with more exciting events ahead in November

RE’s alumni community continues to be inspired by The RE Way. Alumni are engaging with the many opportunities created and led by their own initiatives, ultimately strengthening the RE community and school. Highlights from this month include the Alumni Community Gathering, the Young Benefactor Circle Smash & Social and the Alumni Real Estate Group Speaker Series, featuring Andy L. Ansin ’81, P’25 ’26 ’28 and Mamie Jõeveer P’24 ’25. Looking ahead to later this month, alumni from the Classes of 2013 - 2022 are invited to join fellow alumni at the Young Alumni Reception on November 26.
Alumni discovering new ways to connect and get involved
Nearly 80 RE alumni came together at La Brisa on October 28 for the annual Alumni Community Gathering. From reconnecting with old friends to discovering new ways to get involved — affinity groups, shared interest groups, volunteering in the community, sports and more — it was a night full of community, connection and school spirit.

Young Benefactor Circle enjoys an evening of padel and camaraderie
RE’s Young Benefactor Circle Committee hosted an amazing Smash & Social event, bringing together alumni for a night of friendly padel matches and great company. This group of leaders continuously models The RE Way through meaningful and creative engagement of the young alumni community in support of The Fund for RE.

YBC recognizes graduates between 2010 - 2025 who give at a leadership level. YBC donors share a commitment to fostering a lasting legacy while empowering the next generation of leaders.

Alumni Real Estate Group works with students in the REal Estate student organization
Dozens of members of the RE Alumni Real Estate Group joined students from the REal Estate Club for an engaging discussion on real estate trends featuring RE trustee and parent Andrew L. Ansin ’81, CEO of Sunbeam Properties and Sunbeam Development. The conversation, moderated by parent-of-alumni Mamie Jõeveer, commercial litigator and real estate attorney for Holland & Knight, offered valuable insights into the industry and highlighted the lifelong connections and professional networks that grow from a Ransom Everglades education.

Special thanks to RE Alumni Real Estate Group Co-Chairs Javier Henriquez ’10 and Allan Serviansky ’99, along with REal Estate Club President Mateo Bernal ’27 and Chair Alexandra Ansin ’28, for their leadership in bringing together alumni and students for this meaningful event. Chief Operating Officer David Clark ’86 welcomed attendees, and REal Estate Club Faculty Advisor Maggie Berry was also in attendance.

The evening was a wonderful reminder of the strength of the RE community — and the lasting impact of shared experiences across generations.
