Boys pick up big win on the road!
The boys were more than ready for the long ride to Palmer Trinity, doing the double with a 2-1 victory. In a rematch versus our rivals, won 1-0 at home, Rafa Coronell and Lucas Rua scored in the second half to put us ahead 2-0 before a late Falcon goal raised the level of intensity. Extreme winds and a tough defense made scoring opportunities limited, until Edgardo Defortuna's great corner kick was put away by Coronell's towering header. Entering the final quarter of play with the smallest of leads was never going to be enough. That was until Rua caught a rebound and scored what proved to be the game-winner. The boys will carry their momentum into their final two games, first at home on Monday against True North, and then away at Gulliver on Tuesday. See the Junior Varsity boys in action!
