Raiders win on senior night in three set sweep

Sophomore Adrian Stone Perez '23 led the way with 11 kills, 10 digs, and three blocks as the Raiders defeated Chaminade-Madonna by scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-19. Junior De'vonte Payton '22 continued his dominant play with 10 kills, five digs, three blocks, and three aces in the victory. The Raiders celebrated two seniors, Ethan Gomez '21 and Nicolas Stone Perez '21 before the game on their fantastic careers as members of the Raider volleyball program, and made sure to send them out with a crucial home victory. The Raider defense continued its strong play, minimizing back line errors in the three set sweep. The victory moves the team to 11-4 on the season. The Raiders have clinched the two seed in the district tournament next week, and will host a semifinal matchup on Tuesday, April 27th. First serve is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
