Raiders bounce back with strong performance
Junior Daniel Ribeiro '23 came through in a big way for the Raiders behind a 29 point second half that saw the junior convert on six three pointers, and help turn an eight point game into a 20 point lead in the blink of an eye. Senior Eli Goldman '22 provided the offense for the Raiders in the first half on four three pointers, and two assists. The Raiders also received contributions from seniors De'vonte Payton '22 and Aidan Rothstein '22 who combined for 18 rebounds, 12 points, and 6 assists in the 66-48 victory over Miami Sunset High School. The Raiders continued to rely on the three point shot, knocking down 13 of them in the win. With the victory the Raiders moved to 2-1 on the year as they begin preparations on the undefeated Eagles from North Broward Prep on Wednesday. Tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Henry A. Anderson Gymnasium.
