Round 1 goes to Gulliver

Gulliver's travel to RE proved to be more than just a stern test for our Varsity boys. The score line, more a result of outstanding finishes, does little to reflect the opportunities had by our Raiders. Lincoln Broad's third goal of the season could easily have been joined by several chances created by strong play from Manav Saigal, Lucas Piedrahita and Lucas Rua showing signs of returning to form. GK Samuel Bussell-Alonso handled himself with aplomb, coming up with a variety of saves, throughout the entire game. He will surely benefit from a better defensive display from his teammates, going forward. The Raiders return to action on Monday, away to Westminster Christian. Home fans will get to see our team on Tuesday as we host the Palmer Trinity Falcons. Let's go RAIDERS!
