MS toy drive brings joy to local children

More than 150 children from five churches in Coconut Grove received toys, games or other items from the annual Toy Drive at Ransom Everglades Middle School. Students contributed different categories of toys – from sporting goods to engineering kits to toy cars to games and dolls – based on the "house" to which they belong at the middle school. RE delivered the toys on December 17 to Christ Episcopal Church, the host church.

The tradition dates nearly 30 years and has been organized by middle school faculty members Maria Eugenia Abrante and Ramona Miller.
