Raiders fend off late rally to win ninth straight
Junior Daniel Ribeiro '23 got the new year started off on the right foot with a 28 point effort including eight first half three pointers in a 53-52 victory over University School to move the Raiders to 11-2 on the season. Seniors Aidan Rothstein '22, and Eli Goldman '22 continued their fantastic play combining for 14 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and three steals. Defensively the Raiders were led by seniors Devonte Payton '22 and Zach Marcus '22 holding the Sharks to a season low 52 points. The Raiders will get back to work today as they prepare for a difficult road contest at Saint Andrews. Tip time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
