RE dance impresses in 2021-22 debut

More than 100 dancers from both campuses performed a long-form dance showcase that used the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to illustrate the journey through the seven stages of grief to acceptance. The opening dance performance of 2021-22 at the Lewis Family Auditorium drew a sell-out crowd and illustrated the growth and maturation of the school's dance program under program director Desiree Masucci.
Under the leadership of Masucci and senior dancers Kira Oglesby '22, Ella Kuppers '22, Sol Cuello Robert '22, Alba Uriarte Jimenez '22, Nina Lampert '22, Ekaterina Sucher ’22 and Anastasia Victor ’22, the dance program put forth its most ambitious program ever with one of its largest groups of dancers and most cohesive characters and dances. Students in grades six, seven and eight played major roles in the powerful showcase, and the tech crew produced dramatic lighting and effects.
