Raiders advance to district final in 6-0 victory

Senior Felipe de Cardenas '22 opened the scoring with an unassisted goal to give the Raiders an early 1-0 lead in the class 3A, district 15 semifinals against Keys Gate Charter. The Raider offensive was relentless in the first half with two more goals off the feet of juniors Nicholas Sosa '23, and Christian Sosa '23 to expand the lead to three goals at halftime. The second half would follow a similar script with three additional goals led by senior Caleb Carlson '22 who had two great finishes, and freshman Frankie Pine '25 with the final goal of the evening. The victory moves the Raiders forward into the district final against Westminster Christian tomorrow evening at Robert E. Walker Field. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
