What keeps you busy during the week:  Since retiring from my former leadership role in investment banking, I have been investing in, advising and helping emerging growth and other companies to achieve their strategic, financial and broader goals. Out East is one such example of a wonderful brand and business filling a market need in the U.S. for true quality rose (we are not only “rose all day” but also the first U.S. based Cru Classé Rose), plus wonderful champagne and Shiraz), but doing it in a thoughtful and impactful way. For example, the company also supports environmental and animal welfare causes, such as the restoration of mangroves in the Caribbean. Our wine is sustainably sourced and grown and is one of the lowest (if not the lowest) sugar roses in the market.

 
How did Ransom Everglades prepare you for your future: Ransom Everglades taught me leadership (in sports and life), how to juggle many things at once and to appreciate a broad and diverse group of people.
 
What is your favorite Ransom Everglades memory: There are many. The ones that stand out to me the most are the times we were able to do things as a school or as individuals that no one thought we could, be it in sports or academics. The victory of the human spirit fueled by hard work and sheer determination in these cases are wonderful memories and gave me inspiration in life to keep taking on the perceived impossible.
