Raiders REtain the oar for fourth straight year with 21-16 victory

Junior Ryan Bienstock '24 set a career high in total offensive production with over 200 yards of offense, which included a 60 yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter to lead the Raiders to a 21-16 road victory over the  Palmer Trinity Falcons. Senior quarterback Jackson Pegg '23 added two touchdown passes of his own to senior AJ Srebnick '23 and junior Bryce Sadler '23 to round out the scoring for the Raiders. In front of a great crowd both teams showed tremendous resilience in a back and forth affair. Defensively, the Raiders held the Falcons to 195 total yards of offense and two third down conversions all afternoon. Senior nose guard Luca Trebotich '23 and senior linebacker AJ Srebnick '23 anchored the defensive performance. For the third straight year the Raiders mounted a halftime comeback to REtain the oar in thrilling fashion. The victory moves the Raiders to 2-1 on the year as they prepare for their second consecutive road contest this Friday evening against Marathon High School. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
