Raiders move to 8-0 with homecoming victory

The Raider defense continued its dominant run with its second consecutive shutout in a 42-0 victory over Bridgeprep Village Green to remain undefeated on the season. Led by junior Matteo Gutierrez '25 who tallied two sacks and multiple tackles for loss the Raiders held Bridgeprep to minus 14 yards of total offense for the game. Offensively, the Raiders continued to put up big numbers from quarterback Neimann Lawrence '28 who completed 14 of 18 throws for 222 yards and six touchdown passes. Finn McCarron '28 caught a 22 yard pass and took it to the end zone for his first career touchdown as a Raider. Junior Reid Rosenberg '25, sophomore Raul Matos '26, eight grader Ron Williams '28 and senior Bryce Sadler '24 all caught touchdown passes in the victory. The Raiders will get back to the practice field today as they prepare to host Palm Glades Prep this Friday in their final home game of the season. The Raiders will also celebrate seven seniors with a brief ceremony prior to the game. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
