Raiders pick up third straight win

Senior Sebastian Masferrer '24 converted on a great feed from junior Luca Falero '25 to get the Raiders on the board in the second minute of play and take a 1-0 lead over Somerset Silver Palms. The Raiders would strike again a minute later as junior Frankie Pines '245played a great pass to senior Joaquin Merlo-Garzon '24 to add to the lead. The Raider defense and freshman goalkeeper Jude Yeo '27 held up well to significant pressure from Silver Palms in the second half keeping the shutout intact. Freshman Owen Brue '27 would find senior Alec Stein '24 for the final goal of the game in a 3-0 victory. With the win the Raiders move to 3-2 on the season. A critical road match against Columbus awaits on Tuesday evening at 7:45 p.m.
