Raider basketball picks up 69-52 victory

Sophomore Zeke Battier '26 led the way with 23 points and 16 rebounds in a 69-52 victory over Downtown Doral Charter. Sophomore Jake McCarron '26 continued impacting the game in a variety ways filling up the stat sheet with six points, five rebounds, four steals, and one block. The Raiders came out swinging from the opening whistle as sophomore Quinn Pegg '26 knocked down four three pointers to open up a double digit lead. Defensively, the Raiders held Downtown Doral scoreless in the first quarter and an overall field goal percentage of 31% for the game. The team will get back to the practice court today as they prepare for a road contest against Coral Reef High School this Thursday. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
