Girls basketball raises money for Parkinson's Disease on special day
Three victories from the middle school, junior varsity and varsity program were just a small part of what was a special day for the Ransom Everglades girls basketball program as they raised money and awareness for those battling Parkinson's disease. All three program combined to host a bake sale and sell t-shirts with all proceeds going to the Parkinson's foundation. In front of a large crowd the Raiders brought their A game on the court. At the varsity level freshman Holly Clement '27 put on a show with 21 points including five three pointers to defeat Westminster Christian 56-32. Senior Gabby Pena' 24 continued her solid play with 18 points, 13 rebounds and five steals. A big thank you to coach Supple for putting this event together and to all players and parents who supported it.
