Boys lacrosse advances to district final

Senior Ryan Bienstock '24 led the way with three goals as the Raiders earned a 10-4 victory over Key West High School to advance to the district final against Gulliver Prep. Senior Matias de Cardenas '24, junior Reid Rosenberg '24, and sophomore Elijah Ponce '24 all scored twice in a strong performance by the Raider offense. Junior Rafa Bonafonte '25 rounded out the scoring with goal of his own. Freshman Hunter White '27 led the Raiders with a team high four assists. From the opening whistle the Raiders were ready to play jumping out to an early 3-0 lead. From there the defense would prove resilient forcing difficult shots from Key West. Goalie Chase White continued his stellar play with 21 saves in the victory. The Raiders will now turn their attention to preparation for the district final this Wednesday at Gulliver Prep. Start time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
