Girls' Varsity Swimming Relays, Mattie Barfield Qualifies for State Championships
All of the Girls' Varsity Swim Team Relays qualified for the Florida High School Swimming and Diving State Championships. The 200 yard medley relay team of Mattie Barfield, Meredith Hutchinson, Sophie G. and Calliste Skouras with a time of 1:55.10, the 200 yard free relay team of Sophie G., Sarah Mesa, Alexa Hommen and Calliste Skouras with a time of 1:44.85 and the 400 yard free relay team of Sophie G., Georgia Murphy, Mattie Barfield and Calliste Skouras with a time of 3:45.84 will head to Sailfish Splash Waterpark and Aquatics Center in Stuart, FL next weekend. Mattie Barfield also qualified with her individual performance in the 100 yard back with a time of 1:01.05.
