La Brisa
The acquisition of the La Brisa estate next to the upper school has created an opportunity to redesign the campus.
The La Brisa grounds nearly doubled our acreage, adding room for new walkways, a new quad and meeting areas. The architecturally significant La Brisa house is part of local history and offers an inviting and stately reception space for campus visitors, while bringing together the school’s administrative core, housing the Head of School’s Office, the Admission Office, the Advancement/Alumni Relations Office and meeting spaces for the Board of Trustees, parents’ and alumni associations.
La Brisa provides something you don’t expect to find in the middle of Miami: a swath of unspoiled nature, including a mangrove habitat, native flora and access to the bay.
Protecting the environmental legacy of Coconut Grove is an essential part of our stewardship mission. La Brisa’s green spaces will be carefully preserved for generations to come.

An Exciting Milestone: The Opening of the STEM Center
Constance & Miguel Fernandez STEM Center
Science, technology, engineering and math now has a brilliant new home on the upper school campus. The Constance & Miguel Fernandez STEM Center is a three-story, 45,000 sq. ft. facility optimized for formal and informal learning.
Located at the campus entrance, the STEM center creates new opportunities for the kind of indoor/outdoor/experiential learning that has been central to RE’s curriculum from its founding. While many opportunities are reserved, there are still several options remaining.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
