The Fund for RE

Leadership Giving

The 1903 Society recognizes the generous circle of leadership donors whose philanthropic support elevates the school year after year. Leadership gifts to The Fund for Ransom Everglades empower RE to respond to a broad variety of needs that arise annually. Such gifts provide foundational support for programs that attract and keep the
nation's best faculty; a financial aid program that enhances and diversifies our student body; and other benefits that elevate our students' educational experience and touch the greater community.

The Fund for RE is the first priority of REinventing Excellence: The Campaign for Ransom Everglades. While it will take a number of years to reach the capital and endowment goals of the campaign, gifts to The Fund for RE are put to work immediately. Our goal is to ensure that the school continues to provide the programs and resources that create the margin of excellence that characterizes a Ransom Everglades education. The power of thousands of RE parents, alumni and friends joining their gifts together helps us move forward quickly and with great benefit for our current and future students.

These are exciting times at the school, and 1903 Society gifts are critical to helping us sustain this momentum. Your leadership commitment fosters a strong culture of philanthropy at RE and reinforces the value of a Ransom Everglades education. Most
importantly, it supports the people and programs that make the Ransom Everglades experience unique.

Your support today will change lives into the future.

Young Benefactor Circle

Classes of 2003-2020

Young Benefactors are graduates between the classes of 2003 and 2020 who give at a leadership level of $1,500 or more designated to RE’s financial aid program.

Young Benefactor gifts to The Fund for Ransom Everglades have an immediate impact, supporting a strong financial aid program to ensure that all promising students have access to an RE education regardless of financial circumstances.

Since the YBC program’s inception in 2011, 183 members from twenty class years have contributed more than $800,000 to financial aid.

Financial aid goes beyond making an RE education possible for many students; it also enhances the educational experience for the entire student body. Diversity of background, experience and perspective enriches our entire school community.

Generations of loyal alumni have made RE the extraordinary place that it is today. An investment in Ransom Everglades is an investment in the future. Please make your gift today to ensure that RE continues to graduate responsible citizens who will leave the world better than they find it.

Financial aid highlights:
  • Almost 20 percent of Ransom Everglades students receive financial support. The average scholarship grant at the school is $30,923.
  • Over the last 10 years, RE has invested $48 million in financial aid.
  • In 2019-20, RE dedicated over $6.3 million to student financial support.
