Alumni Events and Reunions
Alumni gather in New York City
Members of the Ransom Everglades community joined together in New York City at The Yale Club on June 6 after a two-year hiatus. More than 40 guests, including alumni and parents, enjoyed time together and exchanged updates and RE stories. Old friends got to catch up, and new friendships were made. Special guests included Katherine (Kaki) Swenson Kahan '61, trustee Rudy Prio Touzet '76, P'18 '20 and his wife Lydia, trustee Brett Sundheim P’26 ’28 and Alumni Board Co-President Vanessa Chartouni-de la Serna '90, P'27 '28.
Classes of 2010 and 2015 had the largest representation, and several alumni from the Classes of 2018, 2019 and 2020 attended their first RE alumni event. A thank you from Ransom Everglades to everyone who made the special effort to attend!

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
