Raider basketball picks up Palm League victory
Senior Daniel Ribeiro '23 led the way with 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists as the Raiders defeated Oxbridge Academy to pick up their first victory of the season. Senior Kyler Pace '23 filled up the stat sheet with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in his best performance of the year. The Raiders also received contributions from freshmen Zeke Battier '26, Jack Merrick '26, and Jack McCarron '26 combining for 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Raiders came out hot from the opening whistle knocking down five three pointers in the first quarter capped off by a buzzer beating corner three by Ribeiro '23 to take a 15 point lead. From their the Raiders would use improved defense and unselfish offense to finish off the Thunderwolves.
