Students perform and learn at National Jazz Festival

Fourteen RE jazz students attended Fifth Annual National Jazz Festival in Philadelphia Feb. 10 to experience a day of performances and educational clinics. Trumpet players Miguel Arango '24, and Martin Piedrahita '24 received judges' choice awards for excellence among the RE attendees. The student participants, members of the RE Combo and Blue Combo, performed under the direction of RE Director of Arts Shawn Costantino, and they are also taught at RE by Director of Instrumental Music Jon Hamm.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
