For College Representatives

Greetings from the College Counseling Office at Ransom Everglades School!

We welcome college admissions representatives to visit our campus and to spend time with counselors and prospective applicants. Starting the week of September 9, we can accommodate college visitors and presentations.

This year, in order to better accommodate our students and the many representatives who want to visit, we will offer a unique schedule. We will welcome up to 4 college representatives per time slot and provide a lunch discussion with the college counseling staff before the opportunity to meet with interested students. Visits will be offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and last a total of 80 minutes.

Please request your visit through RepVisits. We will review requests and respond quickly. Once your visit is approved, you will receive a confirmation email that includes specific instructions regarding how to find the Ransom Campus (Upper School), security and parking details.

While we hope to fit in every college who requests a visit, we do have limitations with the availability of on-campus spaces and time slots in a day. If you are unable to find an option through RepVisits, particularly in mid- to late-October which is our “peak time” for visitors, please contact us at and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
In the fall of 2019, please note that college visits will not be held on the following days:
  • September 2 (Labor Day; school is closed)
  • September 30 (Rosh Hashanah; school is closed)
  • October 9 (Yom Kippur; school is closed)
  • October 16 (PSAT Testing)
  • October 21 (teacher workday; no classes)
  • October 28 (teacher workday; no classes)
  • November 27-29 (Thanksgiving break; school is closed)
